Vinyasa uses intentional movement to build strength, flexibility and coordination. Sequences are cued to breath. At Minneapolis Bouldering Project, there are two levels: Vinyasa I provides accessible energizing flows that are great for beginnings and people looking to deepen or refine their practice and Vinyasa II has an energizing pace and provides exploration of more complex postures and movements.

At its core is Vinyasa yoga, and we spice things up with bodyweight exercises and cardio bursts. We breathe, move, and hold postures in ways that will strengthen your Vinyasa practice. For those who are familiar with Yoga Sculpt, this is very similar, bodyweight style. All levels.
restorative

Restorative yoga slows down the pace, your heartbeat and your mind through postures that encourage passive stretching with relaxing music and thought provoking cues to encourage mindfulness. It’s great for sore bodies and supports your nervous and digestive systems.

Essentially Fit Flow, with added weight. At home, you can use dumbbells, soup cans, rocks, potted plants, the list goes on. In a studio you’ll typically use dumbbells. All levels.
yin

Yin and Yang are two opposite and complementary forces in the universe--they are interdependent and opposing at the same time. One turns into the other, a constant cycle. One cannot exist without the other. Yang is more energetic, busy, bright, and ethereal. Yin is more calm, mellow, dim, and substantial. Most of life is yang, so in this class we balance it with equal and opposing forces. Expect to relax in postures that add a light stretch to your body’s connective tissues. We will be in most postures for 3-5 minutes, occasionally longer. Breathwork and meditation are included in each class, and as always, everything can be customized to your comfort level. All levels.

A work in progress--practice near flame, stay safe, and get spicy. All levels.
